AMH or Anti-Mullerian hormone test is the best indicator of your ovarian reserve, or how many eggs you have left. It is a simple blood test that can be done from home and gives you valuable insights into your fertility health.

✔  Get tested for a fraction of the clinic cost

✔ Get your results in a few days and book your free teleconsultation with our expert

✔  Painless finger prick blood collection

✔ Test is run in our certified lab

Our AMH test kit is available in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and anywhere across the UAE.

  • The AMH test measures your levels of Anti-Müllerian Hormone, which is the most important hormone for assessing your ovarian reserve (the number of eggs you have left). As our egg supply decreases with age, so does our AMH, which is why testing can give a good indication of your egg quantity and whether you have more or fewer eggs than average for your age. AMH can also help identify other reproductive health conditions like PCOS (polycystic ovarian syndrome).

  • We recommend testing in your late 20s or early 30s to check for early signs of infertility — especially if you’re thinking about freezing your eggs — and to proactively take control of your fertility health. Early testing can provide valuable insights into your reproductive health to help you make informed decisions about future family planning.

AMH does not fluctuate throughout your menstrual cycle, so the blood sample can be taken at any time of the month, even if you’re using hormonal contraceptives.

  • After you collect your blood sample (which is a tiny finger prick and pretty painless), you’ll schedule your pickup through our online dashboard. A courier will collect your sample and deliver it straight to the lab, which will handle the rest. Your test kit will come with instructions to guide you through the whole process.

  • Yes! You will get the same reliable and accurate results as you would from a clinic. Our blood samples are processed in the same certified labs, which are ISO and CAP accredited. The main difference is that instead of withdrawing a tube of blood through a needle and syringe, we use a sample collection card, which is actually more stable and only requires a few drops of blood.

GeneveiveDsouza - AMH Kit

At 33 years old, I felt a sense of urgency regarding my fertility and wanted to determine if I still had a viable chance of becoming pregnant. Given that fertility tests can often be both tedious and costly, the doctor I consulted recommended Ovasave, which allows for convenient at-home fertility testing. The process was not only easily accessible, but the platform also provided clear, step-by-step instructions for collecting my blood sample, which boosted my confidence in performing the test myself. I received prompt results and had the opportunity to consult with a doctor at no additional cost to discuss my situation in detail. I appreciate knowing that whenever I need assistance regarding my health and body, I can simply explore Ovasave.

Becky - AMH Kit

A platform like Ovasave was long overdue in this region! Their at-home AMH test made checking my fertility so much more convenient and affordable than going to the clinic, but just as reliable. I love that a brand exists to raise awareness for fertility health, support women on their journeys, and educate on a topic that so many of us are lacking information on. Every woman in the UAE in her 20s, 30s and 40s should discover this company.

Frequently asked questions about AMH Test

  • What is an AMH test for?

An AMH test measures the level of Anti-Müllerian Hormone in your blood. It’s primarily used to assess a woman’s ovarian reserve, which is a term for the number of eggs available in the ovaries. This test is helpful for understanding fertility potential, especially if you’re considering pregnancy or experiencing fertility challenges. It’s also used in assessing conditions like polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) and can be a part of evaluating the need for assisted reproductive technologies like IVF or egg freezing. Essentially, it’s a useful tool in understanding reproductive health. But remember, it’s just one piece of the fertility puzzle, so discussing your results with one of our fertility advisors is always a good idea for a complete picture.

  • Consider getting an AMH test in the following situations:

    • Planning for Pregnancy: If you’re planning to start a family now or in the future and want to know about your ovarian reserve.
    • Fertility Challenges: If you’ve been trying to conceive for a year (or six months if you’re over 35) without success.
    • Before Fertility Treatments: To help tailor treatments like egg freezing, as AMH levels can guide the process.
    • Evaluating for PCOS: If you have symptoms of polycystic ovary syndrome, as AMH levels can be higher in PCOS.
    • Assessing Menopause Onset: If you’re experiencing symptoms of perimenopause or are curious about your timeline towards menopause.

It’s always a good idea to consult with a fertility expert for personalized advice based on what you need.

  • There’s no special preparation or fasting required. You can eat and drink normally on the day of the test. However, it’s always a good idea to let us know about any medications or supplements you’re taking, as we can advise you if anything might affect the test results. And don’t hesitate to ask any questions you have – it’s important to feel comfortable and informed.

  • AMH, or Anti-Müllerian Hormone, is more closely related to the quantity of eggs you have, which is known as ovarian reserve, rather than the quality of those eggs. It gives an estimate of the number of eggs remaining in your ovaries. However, it’s important to note that this test doesn’t provide information about the quality of those eggs. Egg quality is influenced by other factors, including age and overall health, and it’s a key aspect of fertility that AMH doesn’t directly assess.

  • The good news about an AMH test is that it’s pretty flexible timing-wise. You can take it at any time during your menstrual cycle. Unlike other fertility tests that need to be done at specific times, the AMH level remains relatively stable throughout the cycle. This makes it convenient for scheduling the test whenever it suits you best.

  • Don’t worry, we understand that collecting a blood sample can sometimes be challenging. If you didn’t get enough blood from one finger, we recommend trying another finger. Make sure to follow our collection instructions carefully for the best results. If you continue to experience difficulty, we still suggest scheduling a pickup with our courier service and get your sample to our lab for processing. In the rare event that our lab is unable to process your sample, don’t fret. You’ll still have the option to book a visit from one of our trained phlebotomists for an additional fee of 80 AED. Rest assured, we’re here to support you every step of the way in your fertility journey.

  • Our results are just as accurate as those obtained in a clinical setting because all our tests are taken to and run in our certified lab. This means we carefully follow the same strict protocols used during analysis that you would find for any other blood sample. To reassure you further, note that our lab is ISO & CAP certified which is highest standard of regulation for laboratories in the UAE.
