Our fertility panel is a comprehensive blood test of 7 female hormones that play a major role in women’s fertility health. This simple blood test done from home and run in our certified lab provides valuable and reliable information about your hormonal health. In a matter of days and at the fraction of the clinic cost, gain clarity on your ovarian reserve, thyroid health, menopause, and potential other conditions impacting fertility, such as PCOS.

You must take the test on day 3 of your menstrual cycle. Note that you should not be using hormonal contraceptives when taking the test.

  • Our Fertility & Hormone Test measures 7 key hormones: AMH, LH, FSH, TSH, Prolactin, Estradiol, and FT4. These hormones play a critical role in a woman’s fertility and hormonal health. The test helps diagnose up to 14 conditions that can impact fertility, including PCOS, thyroid issues, hormonal imbalances, and perimenopause. It’s also an essential tool for assessing your egg reserve, providing valuable insights into your reproductive future.

  • The test can be taken by any woman between the ages of 18 and 45 who still has periods, even if they are not regular, to provide insights into hormonal health and any underlying conditions impacting fertility. For those who want to be proactive about their fertility and explore their options, we recommend starting hormone testing in your late twenties to early thirties. This timeframe allows for a proactive approach, giving you a clear picture of your hormone levels and fertility health before potential issues arise, as fertility generally declines rapidly in our thirties.

For women with specific concerns or symptoms like irregular periods, a family history of fertility issues, or conditions such as PCOS or endometriosis, it might be beneficial to start testing even earlier. Regular hormone testing can provide valuable insights, helping you make informed decisions about your reproductive plans, whether you’re thinking about starting a family soon or considering options like egg freezing for the future..

  • After you collect your blood sample (which is a tiny finger prick and pretty painless), you’ll schedule your pickup through our online dashboard. A courier will collect your sample and deliver it straight to the lab, which will handle the rest. Your test kit will come with instructions to guide you through the whole process.

  • Yes! You’re the same reliable and accurate results as you would from a clinic. Our blood samples are processed in the same certified labs, which are ISO and CAP accredited. The main difference is that instead of withdrawing a tube of blood through a needle and syringe, we use a sample collection card, which is actually more stable and only requires a few drops of blood.

Stories from real women

Don't just ask us. Ask the women who have been there. We'll wait.

GeneveiveDsouza - AMH Kit

At 33 years old, I felt a sense of urgency regarding my fertility and wanted to determine if I still had a viable chance of becoming pregnant. Given that fertility tests can often be both tedious and costly, the doctor I consulted recommended Ovasave, which allows for convenient at-home fertility testing. The process was not only easily accessible, but the platform also provided clear, step-by-step instructions for collecting my blood sample, which boosted my confidence in performing the test myself. I received prompt results and had the opportunity to consult with a doctor at no additional cost to discuss my situation in detail. I appreciate knowing that whenever I need assistance regarding my health and body, I can simply explore Ovasave.

Becky - AMH Kit

A platform like Ovasave was long overdue in this region! Their at-home AMH test made checking my fertility so much more convenient and affordable than going to the clinic, but just as reliable. I love that a brand exists to raise awareness for fertility health, support women on their journeys, and educate on a topic that so many of us are lacking information on. Every woman in the UAE in her 20s, 30s and 40s should discover this company.

Becky, 38

Kristy Johnson - AMH Kit

Fertility has been something I didn’t put too much thought into until I came across Ovasave. I got my test kit and realized how important it is to check my egg reserve and understand my future fertility potential. The whole process was super easy, convenient and very insightful. I believe that every woman should have access to fertility testing.

Frequently asked question about our fertility hormone test

  • Is the at home fertility hormone test painful?

An at-home fertility hormone test involves a simple finger prick to collect a small blood sample. Most people find this to be just a quick pinch and not very painful. It’s similar to a minor pinch you might feel when you get a routine blood test at a doctor’s office. The key is to follow the instructions that come with the test kit carefully: drink plenty of liquids and warm hands make it easier. And remember, it’s a brief moment that gives you valuable insights into your fertility health. If you’re feeling anxious about it, take a deep breath and remind yourself of the benefits.
And if you are still not sure, you can select a phlebotomist during checkout for an extra 80 aed to draw your blood the old way, through venipuncture. Regardless of what you choose, you’re doing something great for your health and future!

  • Our results are just as accurate as those obtained in a clinical setting because all our tests are taken to and run in our certified lab. This means we carefully follow the same strict protocols used during analysis that you would find for any other blood sample. To reassure you further, note that our lab is ISO & CAP certified which is highest standard of regulation for laboratories in the UAE.

  • Don’t worry, we understand that collecting a blood sample can sometimes be challenging. If you didn’t get enough blood from one finger, we recommend trying another finger. Make sure to follow our collection instructions carefully for the best results. If you continue to experience difficulty, we still suggest scheduling a pickup with our courier service and get your sample to our lab for processing. In the rare event that our lab is unable to process your sample, don’t fret. You’ll still have the option to book a visit from one of our trained phlebotomists for an additional fee of 80 AED. Rest assured, we’re here to support you every step of the way in your fertility journey.

  • Of course, it’s important to know what comes next. After a fertility blood test, the next step usually involves discussing the results with our fertility advisor. We will interpret the hormone levels and explain what they mean for your fertility. Based on these results, we might suggest further testing or treatments if needed. This could include additional blood tests, ultrasounds, or a referral to a fertility specialist. The goal is to create a personalized plan that best supports your fertility journey. Remember, every step you take is a positive move towards understanding your reproductive health better.

  • For this fertility panel specifically you must test on the third day of your menstrual cycle – that’s the third day of your period. This timing gives the most accurate insight into the hormones that are key for fertility, like FSH and estrogen.

  • A hormonal fertility test helps us get a clear picture of your hormonal health, which is a key part of your fertility. It checks levels of various hormones that play a vital role in reproductive function, conception and pregnancy. Knowing if these levels are balanced or if there’s something that needs a bit more attention can be incredibly helpful. It’s like getting a roadmap of your body’s fertility landscape, so you can make informed decisions about your fertility journey. Even if pregnancy is not on the cards yet, testing your hormones might help you identify underlying conditions such as PCOS or DOI that can affect your fertility now or in the future.
